Shilpa Anand (born Shilpa Sivanand on December 10, 1982), is an Indian television actress. She is the younger sister of Sakshi Shivanand , a famous actress in Tollywood and Kollywood.

She was born in South Africa, and did her schooling there. After completing her education, she shifted to Mumbai along with her family Shilpa Anand has five years of experience in all phases of the Software Development lifecycle. She has expertise in Java/J2EE application development and has been working in the E-Learning domain. She has worked for clients within the Healthcare, Travel, Learning Management, and Performance Management Systems field. She studied at the Punjab University MCA, obtaining a Masters in Computer Applications, from 2000 to 2003.

She started her career as a model and then appeared in several South Indian movies. She did many advertisements on Indian television . She has appeared in a Lux advertisement along with Aishwariya Rai Bachchan, and has also appeared in many Coca-Cola advertisements with Aamir Khan and has done a Pudin Hara advertisement along with Amitabh Bachchan. She has appeared in an advertisement for the 'Chandrika' soap.

She acted in a movie named Iqraar...By Chance, in which she played the lead role 'Rashmi'. This film didn't do very well at the box-office. She has also done a minor role in the film Sirf which released on 4 April, 2008. She rose to fame after starring as the lead role of 'Dr. Riddhima Gupta' in Dill Mill Gaye on Star One which is a sequel to the television show Sanjeevani-A medical boon. In this show, Shilpa played the lead role for the first 9 months.
